How Stall Studio Works
Stall Studio is a program that aims to improve mental health and foster community among students in K–12 and collegiate settings. It accomplishes this by utilizing a space that is often overlooked, private, and common to all institutions: bathroom stalls.
The concept is straightforward: attach clear acrylic folio covers to the backs of bathroom stall doors and rotate content that fits on a single sheet of paper. The featured content may include student-created visual art, playlist links, mental health resources, and more! The essential factor is that the content is created by and for students. There are also QR codes on each flyer that lead to a form where students can submit their own work to the program.
Because of the rotating content, Stall Studio is inclusive, adaptable, and dynamic. Its main strength is that it provides private access to content that promotes mental health and community building in environments that can feel busy and impersonal at times. This enables the program to be tailored to specific as well as diverse student needs.
